The Saanich International Student Program (SISP) is looking for caring host families to welcome International students into their families and homes this September, 2024.

Students will be attending Claremont, Parkland and Stelly’s Secondary Schools and come for a stay of 4 months (Sept-Dec), 5 months (Sept-Jan) or a full school year (Sept-June).

Provide a private room, meals, emotional and academic support and inclusion in family life, and receive a monthly reimbursement of $1,200 per student for expenses incurred.

Host Family Information Evenings

If you are interested in learning what being a SISP Host Family is all about, join the SISP Homestay Team for one of the upcoming Host Family Information Evenings. Please sign up or simply request your interest in hosting HERE.

Drop in anytime between 5-7pm, with short presentations every half hour: 5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm, 6:30pm.

Coffee Mornings at Elementary Schools

In March, join the Homestay Team for one of the short and informal Coffee Mornings at various elementary schools after drop off. These sessions will run based on level of interest. Sign up HERE!
