Info for Students…

• Random Acts of Kindness: Did you know that this week is Random Acts of Kindness Week? Your homeroom teacher will be handing out a Random Acts of Kindness Bingo Challenge today. You have until next Tuesday to complete it. If you do complete it, you will have a chance to win a SWEET TREAT! 3 winners will be drawn on Feb. 21.
• Pink Shirt: Pink Shirts are on sale today in the Gallery at Recess. The cost is $15. Cheques are made out to SD 63. Thank you.
• Bayside Instagram: Our official Bayside instagram is a great place to find valuable information, and hear about exciting events and opportunities. You can follow at baysidemiddlesd63. See Mr. Davidson if you have any questions. 
• Dodgeball Tournaments: Both Dodgeball tournaments will continue in the gym today! Our first few games will see 8-7 Vs 8-5, 7-8 Vs 7-9, 8-9 Vs 8-4, 7-4 Vs 6-1, and 7-3 Vs 6-4. Make sure your whole class comes down to the gym right after indoor eating time. See you there Sharks! 
• Art Room: The Art room will be open on Mondays and Fridays at lunch.
• Leadership: There is an important meeting today for all leadership students at lunch recess in the Home Ec Room.
• Grade 8 Girls REC Volleyball: There is NO practice after school today because the boys are hosting games at Bayside today.  We have practice tomorrow at lunch though. See you then. 
• Boys Volleyball: Good luck to both the boys Grade 8 and Grade 7 volleyball teams in their games today.  The grade 8 boys are playing at Lansdowne and the Grade 7 boys are playing here at Bayside.  Come down to the gym at 3:45 today to cheer on the team.  Go get em Sharks.
• Talent Show: The acts have been chosen! Meeting for ALL participants will be this Wednesday at lunch recess. Congratulations to everyone!
• GSA: GSA Club is cancelled this week, we will be meeting next Tuesday, February 21st.  
• Staff vs Staff Volleyball Game: A reminder that this Thursday during lunch recess we will see an epic contest between two teams of staff. Check the Bayside Instagram tomorrow morning to see the rosters, and vote on who you think will win! 
• Lacrosse stick use: A reminder to all students that balls are not to be thrown against the walls of the school during class time, at recess, as well as in the morning before school. This creates noise that disrupts classes and teachers preparing for the day. Thank you for your understanding!
