Info for Students…

  • Skills Canada: Congrats to all the skills Canada competitors who competed last Friday. Good job Sharks!
  • Talent Show: Bayside’s Talent Show is happening this Thursday! The drama room will be open at lunchtime for anyone wanting to practice their act!
  • Chess Club: Reminder that chess club starts up again today at 1 o’clock in the LC and will run every Monday.
  • Art Room: The Art room will be open today and Fridays at lunch.
  • Leadership: There is an important candy bag making meeting today in the Home Ec room at lunch recess.
  • Grade 8 Girls volleyball:  Well done to both Grade 8 girls volleyball teams on their strong play at the Royal Bay Rumble tournament.  Team B had a strong final game to finish 7th and Team A played in a very close final against Lansdowne to win the tournament.  Well done Sharks.  
  • Boys Volleyball: Good luck to both the grade 7 and grade 8 boys volleyball teams who will play in the playoffs today.  The grade 7 boys will be playing for 13th place at Colquitz school while the Grade 8 boys are playing for 5th place at Lansdowne.  Good luck to both teams in your final games of the season.  
  • Grade 8 Girls REC Volleyball: Reminder of your practice after school today at 2:45. See you in the gym! 
  • Rugby Meeting: A reminder that there is a meeting for all students interested in playing Rugby tomorrow during lunch recess in the MPR. See Mr. Davidson if you have any questions. 
  • Field hockey Meeting: If you are a grade 6,7 or 8 girl interested in playing field hockey please come to a meeting this Wednesday at first recess in E105 for important information about the season. No experience is necessary to play.
  • Heads/Tails Challenge: Want to test your luck and win some great prizes? Come on out to the gym this Wednesday during lunch recess for an epic heads/tails challenge. See you there Sharks! 
  • Bayside Volleyball Student Final: This Thursday we will see the epic conclusion of the Bayside Volleyball Tournament. The grade 8 boys will take on the grade 8 girls in an epic match. You do not want to miss this final! The winner will play the staff next week.
