Info for Students:

• Geography Trivia Club: Geography Trivia Club is today in the LC at lunch. 
• Grade 7/8 Girls competitive basketball:   Good luck to the girls team in their semi final today afterschool versus Gordon Head.  The game will take place at St Michaels at 4:45pm.  Go get em Sharks. 
• Grade 8 Girls volleyball  Any girls in Grade 8 who are interested in playing volleyball for Bayside should attend a short meeting today at first recess in E106.  Tryouts begin this week.   
• Winter Dodgeball Team Meeting and Last Chance Sign Up: Attention all dodgeball players! If you have signed up for the upcoming winter dodgeball tournament please meet Mr. Davidson in the big gym at the start of lunch recess for a short but mandatory meeting. If you still want to sign up, bring your team down to the gym at the start of lunch recess to secure your spot! The first day of tournament play will take place tomorrow…get ready to dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge sharks! Please see Mr. Davidson if you have any questions.   
• Reminders: Sharks please wipe your feet as you enter the school to keep the hallways and classroom floors clean.  
• Bartering Fair: HEY! HEY! HEY! BAYSIDE!!! The Bartering Fair is happening on Wednesday, Nov 30th in blocks 1 and 2. What is the Bartering Fair? Shopping without cash!  You get to  trade your items for other items that you want. What you need to do: Bring to school up to 10 new or gently used items from home that you don’t want.  Don’t forget to ask your guardians BEFORE you take the items to school for the BARTERING FAIR on WEDNESDAY, Nov 30. 

Santas Anonymous.  It is that time of year where we get to support kids in Victoria this Christmas. Please bring in money and give it to your homeroom teacher to donate for Santas Anonymous between November 28 to December 5th. Every $40 raised will buy a child a gift this Holiday season. Check out the gallery to see how many gifts we have raised this year. Our goal is $4,000. Let’s help create Christmas memories by buying 100 kids presents this year and share some Christmas love.
