Info for Students…

• Bayside Volleyball Showcase: A reminder that today during lunch recess we will see an epic volleyball match between the Grade 8 Girls Team B and Grade 8 Girls Team A. Players from both teams can come down during eating time to warm-up and help set up the gym. Fans, please head down to the gym right after indoor eating time, and get ready to make some noise!! 
• Bayside Talent Show: Bayside’s Talent Show is on Thursday, March 9th. Sign up for tryouts is Monday at the Drama room. See Mrs. Benetti for details.
• School-Wide Rock Paper Scissors Tournament: Attention all Sharks!! Next Wednesday February 1st Mr. Davidson will be hosting a school-wide rock paper scissors championship in the big gym…all staff and students are welcome to compete and there will be an awesome prize for the first place winner. Stay tuned to the announcements for more info!! 
• Grade 6/7 Boys Volleyball: Congratulations to the Grade 6/7 Boys volleyball team who fought through 3 tough matches at Gordon Head yesterday. Way to go team!
• Grade 7 Boys Volleyball: A reminder that we have a practice this Monday morning at 7:15 AM. We also have a game after school against Arbutus so please remember your Bayside jersey, proper shoes, and black shorts. Go sharks!! 
• Found: Butterfly necklace found, come to the office to claim if you have lost the necklace.
• Lost: Metallic pink earbuds lost here in the building, please return to the office.
• Announcers: Next week's announcers will be Freya and Zoe.

Info for Parents…

• PAC Meeting: The next PAC meeting will be Wednesday February 1 at 6:00pm. Attention grade 8 families, this meeting's highlight will be the GRADE 8 Farewell. We are in need of volunteers, planning and discussions! If you have kids in Grade 8 or know parents of kids in Grade 8, please join the meeting!
