Info for Students…

• Bayside Talent Show: Bayside’s Talent Show is on Thursday, March 9th. Sign up for tryouts is Monday at the Drama room. See Mrs. Benetti for details.
• Bayside Volleyball Showcase: A reminder that tomorrow during lunch recess we will see an epic volleyball match between the grade 8 girls team A and the grade 8 girls team B. Players from both teams can come down during eating time to warm-up and help set up the gym. Fans, please head down to the gym right after indoor eating time, and get ready to make some noise!! 
• Grade 7 Boys Volleyball: A reminder that we have a practice today during lunch recess, please meet Mr. Davidson and Mr. Baerg in the gym right after indoor eating time. This is a mandatory practice so make sure you are there! 
• Grade 6/7 Boys Volleyball: Game after school today at Gordon Head Middle school and practice tomorrow 7:15 am before school. Please come to S115 at the beginning of little recess to get your jersey.
• Grade 8 Girls Volleyball: Sending BIG CONGRATS out to the Grade 8 Girls REC volleyball team for winning their games at their first jamboree yesterday against North Saanich Middle School and St. Margaret’s School. What a FANTASTIC start to the season!! Way to go, girls!!  You represented Bayside so well. Also congratulations to the Grade 8 girls A team for winning 5 out of 6 sets yesterday at PCS school.  Everyone played well and the team is off to a strong start. Another huge congrats to the Grade 8 Girls B team for winning both their games against Royal Oak and PCS last night, only needing 4 sets to beat them both! Their focus, energy, and teamwork skills really shone through!
• Found: Butterfly necklace found, come to the office to claim if you have lost the necklace.
• Lost: Metallic pink ear buds lost here in the buliding, please return to the office.

Info for Parents…

• PAC Meeting: The next PAC meeting will be Wednesday February 1 at 6:00pm. Attention grade 8 families, this meeting's highlight will be the GRADE 8 Farewell. We are in need of volunteers, planning and discussions! If you have kids in Grade 8 or know parents of kids in Grade 8, please join the meeting!
