Info for Students…

  • Book Fair: Russell Books Fair next Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Bayside is hosting a Russell Books Fair in the LC and each class will have a scheduled time to come and buy books and trinkets. Cash, debit, and credit cards are accepted. The fair will also be open after school for parents & families to come during parent-teacher conferences.
  • Paper recycling: Div. 8-6 requests that all teachers have their paper recycling bin placed outside their room by the end of Block 1 so that our class can collect them and empty them for you.  Thank you, Merci, HISKWE!
  • Japanese Club: The Japanese Club is meeting today at lunch in the LC at 1:00pm. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary.
  • GSA Club: GSA club will be meeting in the Art room today at 1pm today!  Everyone welcome!
  • Grade 6/7 Girls Basketball: Practice today at lunch. (Every Tuesday)
  • Touch Football: Attention all staff and students interested in playing Touch Football. Mr. Davidson will be organising touch football games today after school on the top field. Please note that there will be no games on Wednesday as Mr. Davidson is unable to be there, instead we will play today! Remember, anyone is welcome to join at any time, no experience required. Meet out on the top field today after school and plan to stay until around 4:00. Go sharks! 
  • Stelly’s Movie Night: Grade 8’s Stelly’s is sending an invitation for a movie night on October 18th at 7 pm in the MPR at Stelly’s.  It is in support of Victoria Therapeutic Riding Association. 
  • Fresh to You:  Eat healthy and support BC Farmers. 

We are also fundraising for the Saanich Peninsula Lions Food Bank and Bayside Classroom activities

You can order a $25 or $30 dollar bundle of fresh fruits & veggies. Get your family, friends and neighbours to order too!

There are only 2 days left to get your orders in! Fresh to You order forms and payment must be handed back to homeroom teachers by Thursday, October 20.
